The same four-stage process on every project, regardless of format or scope. No shortcuts on research and no writing before strategy is confirmed.
We start with an intake form and a 30-minute call. The form covers your audience, your competitors, your core offer, and what you have already tried in copy that did not work. The call fills in the gaps and gives us the kind of context that does not come through in written answers -- the way you talk about your customers, the specific language you use, the hesitations you have about your own positioning. This stage is not administrative. It is where most of the strategic thinking starts.
Before any draft is produced, we spend time in your category. We read competitor messaging, customer reviews, industry publications, and anything else that helps us understand how your audience thinks about the problem your offer solves. We look for the gaps -- the things your competitors are not saying, the questions your customers are asking that nobody is answering, the angles that are available but unused. The outline is shared and approved before writing begins, so there are no directional surprises in the first draft.
The first draft is written against the approved outline. It goes through internal review before it reaches you -- we do not send first thoughts. Every revision round starts with a clear brief on what is changing and why, not just tracked edits. Revisions continue until the copy is right. The Starter package includes two revision rounds. Signature and Authority include unlimited revisions. If the first draft fundamentally misses the brief in a way we should have caught, we start again.
Final copy is delivered in your preferred format: Google Docs by default, Word, plain text, HTML, or CMS-ready structured text on request. The delivery includes a brief note explaining key decisions made in the copy -- what the primary argument is, why a particular headline angle was chosen, what the copy is expecting the reader to already believe. For Authority clients and ongoing projects, a 30-day follow-up reviews any performance data and flags anything worth testing or adjusting.
All windows begin from the date the completed brief intake form is confirmed. The 48-Hour Rush add-on reduces the first draft window on any package.
Build your package and we will send the intake form. From there, the process runs on its own.
